On July 8, 2023, Shannon Query and Nathan Long were married in Norfolk at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Here is a photo from the wedding reception at The Gala 417 in Virginia Beach. SPX Alumni Jennifer Grimm (SPX c/o '93), who with 22 other educators across the Diocese of Richmond was recognized for the Diocese of Richmond Catholic Schools 2023 Excellence in Catholic Education Awards. She received the Excellence in Catholic Education Award for Portsmouth Catholic School! Jennifer teaches 5th grade at Portsmouth Catholic. Congrats, Jennifer! We are #PiusProud!

Congratulations to our Middle School Science Bowl teams on their amazing showings at Catholic High School! Congrats to our PIus A team: Sonny L., Grayson B., Caleb M., Ryder J., and Robert B. for coming in 1st place overall and congrat to our Pius B team: Colin V., Tyler N., Ayden P., and Gabby H. for finishing in 3rd place overall.
