Mission Statement: The SPX Parent Teacher Organization's goals are to cultivate and promote our Catholic Community and St Pius X School spirit by sponsoring events, activities, and projects to build and strengthen relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and our greater community as a whole.
The PTO is a volunteer organization comprised of Saint Pius’ parents, guardians, faculty, and staff. As a parent or guardian of a student at St. Pius X, you are automatically a member of the PTO!
The primary function of the PTO is to support our school with various planned social activities and events that not only bring fun and fellowship to our children, but also bridges the gap between families and the school. Examples of the events that we have sponsored or supported the school are:
Parents serve a major role in the success of these events, from planning and coordinating with the school to volunteering and/or providing donations. As is required and stated in the Parent/Student Handbook, each parent at the school must fulfill 10 volunteer hours. Volunteering with the PTO is a great way to fulfill these hours! We will share volunteer opportunities via the Communique, school website, as well as our Facebook Group. PLEASE NOTE: all parents who volunteer at the school are required to be Virtus Trained.
General Meetings, open to parents and guardians, will be scheduled quarterly and will be held at the school. These dates will be announced soon.
